Free FiveM HUD Scripts

A good car HUD shows drivers what they need and disappears when they get out. These three free scripts give your server a speedometer, fuel and a seatbelt that work together or on their own.

What a FiveM car HUD should show

Players look at the HUD dozens of times per drive, so it has to be readable at a glance: speed, gear, fuel and whether the seatbelt is on. Everything else, like engine damage, lights, indicators, the handbrake and cruise control, should be there when it matters and small when it doesn't. When the player leaves the vehicle the HUD should go away so it doesn't cover the screen while walking.

The Goodara Speedometer does exactly that. It shows speed, gear, RPM, fuel, engine damage, seatbelt, lights, indicators, handbrake and cruise control, in three layouts. Every player can pick a layout, size it and move it with the /hud command, so the HUD fits their screen instead of the server owner's.

Fuel that the HUD can read

A fuel gauge only means something if fuel runs out. The Goodara Fuel script makes vehicles use fuel as they drive, puts a blip on every vanilla gas station and lets players refuel at the pumps: walk up, press E, and a pump display counts the liters and the price. It also has jerry cans and support for electric cars.

It provides the LegacyFuel exports, so garages, vehicle shops and other scripts that expect LegacyFuel keep working, and the speedometer reads the same fuel level.

Seatbelt and cruise control

The seatbelt script adds a warning chime when the belt is off and throws unbelted drivers through the windscreen in a hard crash, which gives police and EMS scenes real consequences. It also adds cruise control and a speed limiter, both shown on the speedometer.

All three scripts are standalone: they run on QBCore, ESX, Qbox or a server without a framework. They are free; you join the Goodara Discord, then download them from your account.

Frequently asked questions

Are these FiveM HUD scripts really free?

Yes. The speedometer, fuel and seatbelt scripts cost $0. Join the Goodara Discord, then download them from your account.

Do they work with QBCore and ESX?

Yes. All three are standalone, so they run on QBCore, ESX, Qbox or a server without a framework.

Can players move the speedometer?

Yes. With the /hud command each player picks one of three layouts and sets its size and position on their own screen.

Will my other scripts still find the fuel level?

The fuel script provides the LegacyFuel exports, so scripts written for LegacyFuel can read and set fuel as before.
