What a FiveM police fleet needs
Police is the busiest job on most roleplay servers, and it is the one players judge most closely. A department that patrols in one borrowed sedan feels like a placeholder. A garage with patrol cars, a sheriff's SUV, a SWAT truck, an unmarked car for detectives, a helicopter and a couple of ambulances feels like a real city service. This guide walks through the Goodara police and EMS catalog by role, explains the difference between certified lore-friendly units and debadged real-car units, and covers how to get them into your police job on QBCore or ESX.
The order of priorities is simple. Start with the cars officers drive every shift (patrol sedans and SUVs), add a supervisor or sheriff unit, then the specialist vehicles that make big scenes work: SWAT, transport, air support and marine. Plan medical response alongside it, because a pursuit that ends in a crash needs an ambulance to call.
Lore-friendly police cars prepared for the FiveM Terms of Service
The newest part of the catalog is a set of certified lore-friendly police units. They are not just debadged: each one is renamed with a GTA V-style brand and model name and carries no real-world manufacturer logos or model names, so it is prepared to meet the FiveM Terms of Service and sits naturally next to GTA V's own emergency vehicles. Each one is styled after a well-known real police vehicle, which is usually the car people are searching for.
The Bravado Buffalo S Police is the lore-friendly Dodge Charger Pursuit: a marked pursuit sedan with a livery, its own carcols siren setup and 42 visual tuning parts plus performance upgrades. Its sheriff-spec sibling is the Bravado Buffalo STX Sheriff. The Police Cruiser is the lore-friendly Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, the classic marked patrol car, with a siren setup, 2 liveries and 49 visual tuning parts plus performance upgrades. The Declasse Granger Sheriff stands in for the Chevrolet Tahoe as a full-size sheriff patrol SUV with 4 liveries, and the Vapid Scout Police is the lore-friendly Ford Police Interceptor Utility, a marked utility SUV with a livery.
Beyond those, the set includes the Vapid Riata Sheriff (a Ford Bronco-style off-road sheriff truck), the Ubermacht Rebla Police (a BMW X5-style police SUV with 72 visual tuning parts plus performance upgrades), the Declasse Granger Police Transport (Chevrolet Suburban), the Vapid Speedo Police Van (Chevrolet Express), the Benefactor Schafter Police (Mercedes-Benz S-Class), the Lampadati Komoda Police (Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio), the Gallivanter Baller Police (Range Rover Sport), the Pegassi Amira Police and the Vapid Dominator FIB, an unmarked federal pursuit car based on the Ford Mustang GT. Specialist roles are covered by the HVY Brickade SWAT, the Police Motorcycle, the Police Maverick helicopter and the Secret Service Motorcade, one resource with 19 spawnable motorcade vehicles.
Lore-friendly or debadged: choosing for your server
The rest of the police catalog is debadged real-car units: the Dodge Durango (Police), the Chevrolet Suburban 2021, the Cadillac Escalade-V Mansory, the Audi RS6 in marked and unmarked versions, the Lenco BearCat and many more. Their real-world badges are removed, but they keep their real-world names and shapes. They are the natural pick when your community asks for a specific real car by name.
The certified lore-friendly units are the choice when your server is public, streamed, or simply wants every car in the city to belong to GTA V's world. You can also mix the two, for example running lore-friendly units for everyday patrol and adding debadged units for roles like K9 or marine patrol. Whichever route you take, keep each division visually consistent, because one mismatched car at a scene stands out more than any individual model choice.
Building the fleet by role
Patrol and pursuit. The Buffalo S Police, Police Cruiser and Vapid Scout Police cover the three shapes most US-style departments run, and the Ubermacht Rebla Police adds a European SUV. On the debadged side, the Dodge Durango (Police), Ford Mustang (Police), Chrysler 300 (Police) and the Audi RS6 (Police) pursuit wagon fill the same slots, while the FiveM Police Fleet Pack adds 17 high-end units, from the Dodge Charger SRT Wagon to the Mercedes-AMG ONE and Lamborghini Urus, for interceptor and showcase duty.
Sheriff and rural. The Declasse Granger Sheriff, Bravado Buffalo STX Sheriff and Vapid Riata Sheriff give a county department its own look. The debadged 2017 Chevrolet Silverado K9 (Police) suits K9 roleplay, and the Park Ranger (Police SUV) covers park ranger patrols.
SWAT and tactical. The HVY Brickade SWAT is an armoured truck with bulletproof glass, reinforced ramming and a livery. Debadged tactical options include the Lenco BearCat, two SWAT vans and SWAT versions of the Chevrolet Suburban, Dodge Durango, Dodge Charger and Mercedes Sprinter.
Unmarked, transport and federal. The Vapid Dominator FIB, Audi RS6 (Unmarked) and Nissan Skyline R34 (Unmarked) cover detectives and undercover work. The Declasse Granger Police Transport and Vapid Speedo Police Van move suspects and teams, and the Secret Service Motorcade handles VIP escort scenes.
Air, motorcycle and marine. The lore-friendly Police Maverick, with working emergency lighting and a livery, and the debadged Police Helicopter cover air support. The lore-friendly Police Motorcycle handles traffic enforcement, and the Police Boat covers harbour patrol.
EMS and ambulances
Medical response is the other half of an emergency-services division. The catalog has three ambulances (Ambulance, Ambulance v2 and Ambulance v3), fast-response medic cars built on the Audi RS6, RS7 and RS Q8, the BMW M5, 7 Series and X5 and a Dodge RAM, plus a Yamaha EMS motorcycle for getting a paramedic through traffic. The EMS units are debadged builds; the certified lore-friendly set currently covers police roles.
A small server can start with two ambulances and one medic car. If you would rather not pick them one at a time, the EMS Pack bundles three EMS vehicles in one purchase.
Police car packs or single units
Packs are the fastest way to stand up a department. The Lore-Friendly Police & Emergency Pack bundles 16 certified lore-friendly vehicles, including marked and unmarked pursuit cars, sheriff units, the Brickade SWAT truck, a transport van, the Police Motorcycle and the Police Maverick, for a fraction of the single-unit price. The FiveM Police Fleet Pack bundles 17 debadged units, each with working emergency lighting, liveries and a livery template. For a smaller first department, the Police Starter Pack has four police vehicles and the EMS Pack has three EMS vehicles.
Singles make sense when you already have a fleet and need one role filled, or when your department wants one specific car. Both large packs ship one resource per vehicle, so you enable only the units your department needs and leave the rest out of server.cfg.
Installing police cars on QBCore and ESX
Every unit is a standard add-on resource. Unzip it, drop the folder into resources, add an ensure line to server.cfg (for example ensure goodara_nkbuffalos for the Buffalo S Police) and restart. The spawn code is listed on every product page, so you can test the car in-game straight away.
To make a car available to officers rather than only admins, add its spawn code to your police job's vehicle list. On QBCore that is the authorized vehicles list in qb-policejob's config, grouped by rank; ESX servers running esx_policejob set the same thing in its config. EMS units go into your ambulance job's vehicle list the same way, and if the station uses a separate garage script, register the spawn codes there too.
Two tips specific to emergency vehicles. Units that ship with their own carcols siren setup say so on the product page, and if two resources share a carcols id they can conflict, so change the id if a car shows the wrong lights. And if your department wants its own branding, the units with a livery slot and the Fleet Pack's livery templates give you a starting point instead of a blank model.
