About the Free FiveM Engine Sound Changer Script

The Goodara Engine Sounds script is a free FiveM engine sound changer. Sit in a car, type /enginesound and pick a sound from the menu. It plays at once, and every player around the car hears the same sound.

Install: put the folder in resources, add ensure goodara_enginesounds to server.cfg after your engine sound packs, and restart.

What's inside

  • Sound menu – search about 75 base-game engine sounds (Adder, Zentorno, T20, Itali GTB, Sultan RS, Dominator, Bati 801 and more) and the add-on sounds you installed.
  • Add-on sounds – list your engine sound packs in config.lua with a name and a label, and they show in their own group.
  • Synced for everyone – the sound is stored on the vehicle, so players who join or drive up later hear it too.
  • Listen and reset – hand the controls back to rev with the menu still on screen, or go back to the car's own sound in one click.
  • Saved per plate – optional: the sound comes back the next time the car is driven.

For everyone, or for staff

Everyone can use it by default. Switch to an ACE permission (goodara.enginesounds) to keep it for staff or VIPs, and choose whether only the driver or also passengers may change the sound. The server checks access, the seat, a cooldown and that the sound is on your list before anything changes.

Works on any server

Standalone, no framework needed. Works on ESX, QBCore, Qbox and vRP. Uses ox_lib, ESX or QBCore notifications when they run. Players can bind their own key. Colours and size are in one CSS file. Needs OneSync.

Free for members of our Discord. Sign in with Discord to download it. Help and updates are on the Discord too.
