How to Install Custom Rims and Wheels in FiveM

To install custom rims in FiveM, drop the rim pack into resources, ensure it in server.cfg, restart the server fully and open the wheels category in a mod shop. How are rims added to FiveM?

Wheels are defined in carcols.meta and the wheel model/texture files live in a stream folder. A rim pack bundles new wheel entries and registers them so the customization menu lists them alongside the stock sets.

1. Install the rim resource

Drop the pack into resources and ensure it in server.cfg. Most quality rim packs are fully standalone — no editing of individual vehicles required.

2. Mind the load order: why new rims don't appear
