How to Add a Car Dealership to Your FiveM Server
· 7 min read

A dealership turns a pile of installed cars into an actual economy. Instead of admins spawning vehicles, players earn money and buy them — which is the heart of roleplay progression. Here's how it fits together.
How vehicle shops work
A dealership script (qb-vehicleshop and its many alternatives) shows a catalog at a location, takes the player's money, and registers the purchased vehicle to them in the garage/database. The cars themselves are just normal add-on resources. For a polished, well-supported shop script, our partner Glory Scripts is worth a look.
1. Install your vehicles first
The shop can only sell cars that exist on the server. Install your add-on cars and confirm they spawn before wiring them into a shop — follow the install guide and verify with spawn testing.
2. Add cars to the shop config
Each shop has a config listing the vehicles for sale by spawn name, price and category. Add your cars there with sensible prices for your economy.
3. Categorize for a clean storefront
Group inventory the way players think — compacts, sports, SUVs, supercars. Mirroring our supercar, SUV and sport categories makes browsing intuitive.
4. Balance prices to your economy
If a supercar costs an hour of grinding, your economy breaks. Price cars relative to how money is actually earned on your server so the dealership stays aspirational.
